Grace Marriage is a nationally recognized, licensed curriculum built around quarterly Saturday gatherings — couples spend the morning dating, journaling, and learning together in a small-group environment. The curriculum runs four quarterly sessions a year across a seven-volume journal-style book series, so couples move through roughly one volume per year for a seven-year journey of steady, intentional growth. Free catered breakfast and free childcare are included. Come as you are; jump in any quarter.

The Grace Marriage program gives our community the opportunity to regularly invest in marriage throughout every season of life. The curriculum has built-in materials and reminders to check in with your spouse and remember to keep loving each other. Start Married Life Right (SMLR) is designed for seriously dating, engaged, and newly married couples to walk through the foundational habits, conversations, and rhythms that set a marriage up to thrive for the long haul. In this interactive course, you and your partner will receive engaging Biblical instruction and participate in meaningful discussions with other couples as you build a strong foundation for a God-honoring marriage. SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) is a research-based analysis for those looking into marriage as well as married couples wanting to strengthen their marriage. After completing the assessment, the couple meets for five facilitated sessions to walk through the answers together — unpacking personality, expectations, communication, finances, intimacy, and the season ahead. The process can also help satisfy pre-marriage preparation requirements. Any of our certified SYMBIS facilitator couples can lead the sessions.

WinShape is an award-winning, biblically grounded ministry that brings couples to Rome, Georgia for a long weekend to learn about specific subjects tied to marriage and life. Each couple selects the topic that fits their season and pays the registration; the Marriage Ministry then reimburses roughly half the tuition — usually around $400. Highland has partnered with WinShape for more than 16 years, and in that time we've seen couples come back with new resources, shared memories, and a renewed friendship. Highland provides counseling for its members and their children. That can mean marriage issues, personal issues, children's issues (preteen, teen, college, and post-college), and addictions. You start with six sessions from a counselor of your choice, and additional sessions can be arranged. Everything is confidential and handled quietly, without judgment. If you're not a Highland member, reach out anyway — we're glad to point you toward trusted counselors in the Memphis area.

Throughout the year we host guest speakers and special presentations on marriage topics — everything from communication and intimacy to parenting-through-marriage and navigating hard seasons.
